QUESTION: WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND AND CAREER PATH?

ANSWER: I grew up in Whiting, IN before heading to Bloomington for college. I majored in Public Affairs at IU with a concentration in Environmental Science at SPEA.  I graduated in 1998 and took a position selling revolving doors!  I did that for 2 years before beginning my career at EMC in September of 2000.  The rest is history.

Q: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING RECOGNIZED BY YOUR COWORKERS?
A:  I am honored and humbled.

Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT WORKING AT EMC?
A: I really enjoy the amount of expertise and teamwork with the whole staff at EMC.

Q: WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR MOST EXCITING PROJECTS AT EMC?
A: My most exciting projects at EMC have probably been the large excavations I have done over the years, I really enjoy them. Also, Matt Feller and I hand augured two 20’ plus wells in a basement with a 6’ ceiling!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR LIFE LIKE OUTSIDE OF EMC?
A: Outside of EMC I spend a lot of time with my wife, Bridgett, and daughter, Sydney who is 17 and about to graduate from high school. I do a lot of duck hunting during the season and fishing year-round.  We spend the spring, summer, and fall at our house on Kentucky Lake boating and relaxing.
